Construction work starts in Hartley Wintney

Demolition has started of the former office building site at Dairy Walk in Hartley Wintney. The three week process formed the start of construction to transform the site into a brand new luxury development for senior living in the town.

The developer behind the scheme, Renaissance Retirement, has indicated the grand opening will be in December this year.

The luxury apartments, to be called Fleur-de-Lis Hartley Wintney, will comprise spacious 23 one and two bedroom apartments, together with a owners' lounge and guest suite. The luxurious properties will provide an exceptional standard of independent living for those considering downsizing from a larger family home.

The development boasts an excellent location, offering direct pedestrian access to the High Street, and is a short walk from local shops, the post office, restaurants, pubs and a doctor’s surgery, as well benefits from good access to public transport.

Robert Taylor, Managing Director at Renaissance Retirement, said: “This is the number one location for senior living in Hartley Wintney and a much anticipated development for senior living. The Grand Opening will later this, but we will have regular information and a brochure to send out later this year.”

Nick Watkins, Development Director at Renaissance Retirement, added:  “This is a very exciting development in a stand out position.  With our prime location, just off the high street in Hartley Wintney, it’s no wonder we have received considerable interest from potential buyers already."

With Renaissance’s heritage dating back to the first retirement apartments at HRH Prince of Wales’ flagship Poundbury development in Dorchester, the 23 apartments will provide luxurious living spaces ideally suited for downsizers looking to maintain a quality standard of independent living.
