First chance to reserve ‘stunning’ new Marlborough retirement apartments at event

Renaissance Retirement is holding an event at the Town Hall in Marlborough to showcase its plans for its luxury retirement development on the former Old Yard, London Road.

The company is expecting its free English Cream Tea 'themed' event on Thursday 27 April to be well attended judging by the number of enquiries it's received.

The 28 one and two bed apartments are the first new build development of its kind in the town for over 10 years and have attracted extensive interest.

The company employed an ex-English Heritage consultant who advised Renaissance Retirement on the most appropriate building design for this sensitively located site. The company adopted an Arts and Crafts style consisting of sweeping, sprocketed roofs, Voysey dormers and large chimneys.

"We are hoping for a big turnout of potential buyers," said Matt Smith, sales director designate at Renaissance Retirement.

Matt added: "Our message is not to think 'downsizing' but 'rightsizing'. We have some very spacious apartments on offer which, we think will surprise people and are really suited to senior living.

"We have already recorded a good amount of interest from potential buyers and this will be the first official opportunity to reserve an apartment."

Chris Wotton, marketing director at Renaissance Retirement added: "We believe prospective buyers will be thrilled with how the apartment will look inside. It will be one of the major new homes' launches this year in the region and not one to miss."

Free to attend, the event is from 11am – 4pm. Call 0800 625 0026 to book your place on the guest list.
