Great British Bake Off contestant the special guest at afternoon awareness event in Wantage

Oxford resident and BBC Great British Bake Off contestant, Christine Wallace, will be the special guest at Fleur-de-Lis Wantage on Tuesday 6th February.

Renaissance Retirement is hosting a baking demonstration and talk by the former quarter finalist and local cooking celebrity. The company will also showcase its new retirement show apartments on the day to interested parties.

The event is free to attend and only requires a pre-registration by phoning the development on 01235 766398.

"We are hosting a very special free afternoon by popular demand," said Chris Wotton, Marketing Director at Renaissance Retirement.

Chris added: "We are delighted to welcome Christine to our new development. I'm sure there will be huge interest in this event.

"There are many people who need advice, support and help when they are thinking of downsizing and we are there to speak to. Owners who will be on hand to give their first-hand experience and impartial advice."
