Maria reserves ‘spacious’ retirement apartment in prime location in Sandhurst

Space and location were very important to Maria Campbell when she decided to reserve a retirement apartment in Sandhurst. After all, Maria is moving out for a house in Gower Park and is used to having plenty of room in a sought after area.

Maria was the first to reserve a brand new two-bed apartment being built on Yorktown Road by Renaissance Retirement having enquired through sole agents Waterfields in Sandhurst.

Renaissance Retirement's 42 one and two bedroom development also boasts underground parking and a tea room.

Less than 50 steps to Waitrose and close to local amenities, the development's central location is a big selling point.

"The apartment is lovely and spacious – and the perfect size for me," said 84-year-old Maria. " I didn't want to leave the Sandhurst area and being close to all the local amenities was important. The location couldn't be better as I can walk to Waitrose, hairdressers and the post office - everything is close by. I'm very excited about the move."

Maria's son Martin Campbell has been very instrumental in his mum's move and feels it is the right time for his mother to move into a retirement development. "I've been very impressed with the choice and quality of flats on offer. Mum will be very happy I'm sure," Martin said.

Matt Smith, sales director at Renaissance Retirement, added: "We arranged a visit to Romsey for the Campbell's and gave them a tour of our luxury development. Impressed with the quality, they reserved off plan a two bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens at the rear of the property."

Nick Watkins, development director, Renaissance Retirement, said: "We are delighted that Maria has reserved. We are now 30 percent reserved off plan which is a very positive start. We think this site is perfect for retired people who live in and around the area.

Nick added: "The spacious one and two bedroom apartments will be impeccably finished with contemporary interiors, whilst owners will also have access to a lounge and guest suite, which will be available to visiting friends and relatives."

Noticing a demand for luxury retirement housing, Renaissance Retirement design, build and manage retirement developments, with communal areas meticulously cleaned and maintained to ensure a level of comfort that one would expect in a 4-star hotel.
