Renaissance Retirement appoints Bradleys estate agents at luxury development site in Paignton

Renaissance Retirement has appointed Bradleys estate agents to market its luxury retirement development in Paignton. The top-rated Devon agents were hand-picked for the role after a number of recommendations and an interview process.

The agents, who specialize in new build, will be marketing Renaissance Retirement’s Fleur de Lis, Victoria Park, which is being built on the former Paignton Library site, and when complete will feature 38 luxury retirement properties. These one, two and three-bedroom apartments have been designed to offer a convenient lifestyle in a contemporary setting, some offering mezzanine floor spaces and balconies creating a modern and stylish environment.

Ideally suited to downsizers and those seeking to maintain a quality standard of independent living throughout retirement, each of the properties is connected to emergency call systems and 24-hour security, as well as an on-site concierge who is on hand to assist owners and oversee the development’s daily operation. A lavish Owners’ Lounge and guest suite are also accessible to all owners.

Renaissance Retirement, who built the first retirement development at HRH Prince of Wales’ Poundbury site in Dorchester, is confident of a completion date for the show apartment in June but are advising interested parties to register early for more information.

Nick Watkins, Development Director at Renaissance Retirement, comments: “We are delighted with the response for our development overlooking Victoria Park from people living in Torbay. It’s a superb development in a great location which is why so many have registered their interest. Bradleys was an obvious choice as agents and they have impressed with their eagerness as well as local and regional knowledge.”

Paignton-Construction-2.JPGManaging director at Renaissance, Robert Taylor, added: “Offering a tranquil setting and high quality design, we knew that our new Paignton development would be popular; but the amount of interest we have already received has been staggering. It is clear that the area has a great need for quality retirement properties and that’s what we are looking to provide.”

Location is at the heart of Fleur de Lis popularity, with many of the apartments overlooking the grounds of Victoria Park and are just a short walk from the shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants on Paignton High Street.  The Eastern Esplanade and some of the ‘English Riviera’s most beautiful beaches are just a 15-minute walk away. Paignton is serviced by excellent public transport with regular bus services travelling to Torquay, Totness and Plymouth. The Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway runs from Paignton on the scenic seven-mile trip to Kingswear on the River Dart.

All buyers will benefit from Renaissance’s complimentary SmoothMove service, which is designed to ease the pressures, stress and cost of moving home. New owners receive expertise and support from a specialist SmoothMove Consultant, including packing up their furniture, planning the layout of their new home and even arranging new utility services.

Fleur de Lis, Victoria Park, has also been commended for its design by the Mayor of Torbay, Gordon Oliver. He commented: “I’ve been to the site and judging by the plans for the development, the interest in Fleur de Lis Victoria Park, I think they will sell very well.”
