‘Sister Act’ at Renaissance Retirement Paignton development

Two sisters have got in on the act by moving into Renaissance Retirement's new Fleur-de-Lis apartments in Paignton.

Enid Mitchell, 89, and Pam Chapman, 90, now see rather more of each other than a year ago!

First to buy was Enid, who moved into a ground floor one bedroom apartment with a patio from Brixham. Six months later followed 'older' sister Pam, who came from Dorset. Pam moved into a first floor apartment.

"It's lovely seeing more of Pam," said Enid. "It made sense to be closer together and it's worked out very well. We are on a bus route to Torquay and can walk very easily into the centre of Paignton."

Pam added: "We take it in turns to cook for each other every night – all but Sunday. On Sundays we go and eat at the Palace Hotel, courtesy of Renaissance, which was part of a sales incentive.

Renaissance Retirement's development in Paignton is now over 90 per cent sold.

The 38 spacious one and two bedroom apartments, next to Victoria Park, offers a number of special features including balconies, en-suite bathrooms, patios and mezzanine/dual level floors.

Prices for the one bed apartments start at £175,000 and Renaissance Retirement's area sales manager James Taylor said: "It's really nice to see the family connection with Enid and Pam.

We are advising that interested buyers get in touch for a tour as soon as possible. There are some stunning retirement flats for sale and we are attracting buyers looking to downsize from the Torbay area and further afield."
